Creative Mornings | Atlanta

I'm finally getting to post about my first experience with Creative Mornings! If you don't know what it is, you should definitely check it out here and see if your city offers it. Not only do they give you free breakfast ( Can I get a hell yeah for breakfast popsicles!? ) and coffee but you get to hear from some awesome local artists, entrepreneurs, innovators, thinkers, doers. Not to mention, you're surrounded by the most creative people in the city.

This Creative Morning's theme was collaboration. We heard from three guys that created the ultimate collaboration with Atlanta. You can check out weloveatl here and tag your images with #weloveatl.

Lex 18 | Carole King Tribute

Lex 18, a Gatsby-styled Bar and Restaurant in downtown Asheville, hosts fun theme inspired shows including this musical tribute to Carole King by no other than my super talented Mother, Sheila Gordon. The show included live music as well as 70's inspired dishes and attire. Lex 18 also offers mystery dinner experiences and an upcoming midnight seance! For more information, visit their website

You can hear music by the extraordinary Sheila Gordon here

Faces of The Playa | Burning Man 2015

What an amazing adventure and incredible people! If Salvador Dalí and Dr Seuss made a magical land for adults to play, It would be Burning Man. Happy to say I can mark this one off the bucket list. I'm already looking forward to going back to good ol' Black Rock City. Everyone needs to experience this at least once in their life.

To the beautiful humans that let me take their portrait--I am so grateful.

All images shot in 35mm Kodak Portra film and have not been edited.

Viva Las Vegas

When we first arrived in Las Vegas I had a conversation with the cab driver who happened to also be a photographer. He warned me to "not take the stereotypical photos every photographer takes". My response was that I've never seen those photographs and I've never seen this city, so, my perspective is completely unique. So, here's to hoping these images aren't like those that every photographer takes of Vegas.

A random collection of images because, well, Vegas is pretty random. This city certainly has character! Lights, camera, action...
